recommendations for 22" monitors anyone? everyone seems to like the dells right?
I've always gone with Samsung TFTs myself, not quite as cheap as dell but then not quite as cheap either ;)
Monitor short-list (I like the HP because it does gymnastics... and someone told me the cheaper samsung below (bargain!) seems better than the more expensive one?). Confusing much?

On paper the SM2253BW is technically the best (and the hp is the worst) but i personally don't like the super glossy look of it.
I have a SM940BW plus at work, gets the job done nicely.
Cool - thanks!
I might try and go for that 2253BW then, because £150 sounds like a pretty good deal if I can get it and well within what I wanted to spend. I might go down to the shops and see if i can take a look at some in person though and see what I like :)

That's what I'm thinking now... apparently nearly all the 22" use TN panels which aren't great for colour accuracy, and that £150 samsung I liked was a bit of a panel lottery with a couple that were really pretty naff.
Other option is 20", 24" or an ACD. That 22" LG is meant to be a pretty good display though, for a TN. And I probably wouldn't be able to notice any difference anyway.
But the Dell swivels.
